JMC Kings champ in LYR Mindanao Collegiate Basketball Cup

It was a harrowing Sunday evening. The awaited moment of the most nerve-racking championship game had finally arrived for the two rivalry basketball teams, the IBA College of Mindanao Knights and the Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. Kings.

Days and days of hard, aggressive, closely won ball games one after another. Preparing for the championship game was a struggle, physically and mentally. Everyone has to put in hard work and determination to win in a series of games shooting, rebounding, passing, and dribbling, blocking, stealing, and again, rebounding—all for excellence—but all is well in the end.

The basketball ‘Kings’ of JMCFI have bagged the title “champion” in this LYR season’s Mindanao Collegiate Basketball Cup. The Kings received the title after beating IBA College of Mindanao Royal Knights team on November 27, 2022.

Kings won by 62-52 final score.
