JMC ACES ace several volleyball playoffs

Amidst the scorching heat of the sun, the Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. (JMCFI) volleyball girls earned awards from competitions mounted around and outside Davao city. The team won in the following playoffs: PSC Summer Beach Volleyball (Open) – Samal Island, Kapatagan Beach Volleyball Invitational Tournament, Bangkal, and Rebisco Volleyball League – City League and Regionals.

After qualifying for the regionals, the JMCFI ACES High School won against Sto. Tomas and was placed 4th throughout the whole competition.

ACES also played in the SK Dumoy Invitational Volleyball League. The competition was held in Bangkal, Davao City and this game was for a cause. The JMCFI ACES enjoyed the game and won over two (2) teams.

In the PNVF Champions League 2022, two (2) representatives were chosen from JMCFI Aces (Hilig, Ashley Crystal Jade A. – BSC 4th Year and Oliveros, Michaela Marie A. – BSC 3rd Year) and together with other players they represented as a team namely SK Dumoy Davao Lady Agilas. They were in the Bracket B together with California High School – Antipolo, University of the East Manila and Bulacan Team.

They won against the Bulacan Team and was unfortunately defeated by UE Manila in a close fight. After this, they were also defeated by California High School and eventually got eliminated from the competition.

ACES players continue with their physical training early since July this year to strengthen their physical fitness, be familiar with their new team mates and rotations.
