JMCFI births iPower; Public Opinion Research instituted

JMCFI blazes the trail in Public Opinion Research with the establishment of iPower, the institution’s survey core group.

The iPower conducts scientific-based research on public opinion at the local, national and international levels. Its aims include; Edu-social analysis, research, and community outreach with an emphasis on social indicators and the creation and development of new data sources; Design and implementation of educational, social, economic, political, and religious surveys, including public opinion polls; dissemination of research findings through publications, radio  & TV shows, seminars, briefings, and other modes.

The Board of Directors and Officers of JMCFI iPower Institute of Public Opinion research took their oath of office on January 10, 2022, during the regular Monday Assembly meeting. They are the following;

President and Chief Executive Officer: Dr. Felix C. Chavez Jr.

Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer:  Dr. Josefina D. Ortega

Director for Sampling and Data Processing: Ronnie D. Mendoza

Director for Field Research: Lord Vincent Van N. Mendoza

Director for Communication and Information Technology: Aaron Jess M. Vergara

Deputy Director for Survey Design, Analysis, and Training Group: Myrna L. Ambrocio

Deputy Director for Administration: Khemer Greffin M. Colon

Deputy Director for Finance:Teresita C. Mendoza

Deputy Director for Survey Archives and Library: Joannie B. Largo

Deputy Director for Cross-Cultural Networks: Merichelle Joy U. Enilo

There are exciting projects ahead as we embark on this milestone for JMCFI, says Dr. Josefina D. Ortega, Vice President for Research and Quality Assurance Management of the institution.

A vision exalted in the JMC Hymn, which says, “Raising your standards high for all the world to see.” The iPower –IPO establishment as the core research group of the Jose Maria College signals a soaring high in its quest to carve its niche in global research.
